Magnopus is seeking an AI Tech Artist to design, build, and optimize node-based generative AI workflows for a major project at their Downtown Los Angeles studio. The role is a fixed-term contract through September 2026 with an anticipated extension to February 2027, onsite five days a week.

Qualifications

• Advanced experience building, extending and troubleshooting node-based generative AI workflows.
• Strong Python development skills, including custom nodes and integrations for generative AI workflows.
• Deep understanding of current generative image/video models and multimodal workflows.
• Experience with conditioning and adapter technologies such as ControlNet, IP-Adapter and LoRA.
• Experience optimizing AI workflows for memory usage and inference speed.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, document and maintain complex node-based generative AI workflows for production use.
• Develop custom Python scripts and nodes to extend graph functionality and integrate external APIs.
• Evaluate emerging generative AI models and integrate relevant developments into production workflows.
• Build and optimize image, video and multimodal generation workflows for visual quality and fidelity.
• Configure and optimize models for memory efficiency and reliable execution across environments.
• Create and maintain workflows for training and deploying adapters and project-specific model customizations.
• Package complex workflows into reusable graph templates and tools for creative teams.
• Troubleshoot issues across models, nodes, integrations and production workflows.
• Collaborate with artists to understand challenges and develop practical technical solutions.
