Job Description

You will be a key member of our hospital medicine team, serving as the quarterback for admissions and cross coverage for the inpatient service line from 6pm-6am. Embrace a block schedule of 7 days on, 7 days off, with the opportunity to pick up additional shifts if desired. We seek an internal medicine-trained physician who is passionate about hospital medicine, comfortable caring for patients in a mid-size community hospital of 180+ beds with an open ICU, and confident in running codes. Candidates must have a current Texas medical license or have already applied for one. We support delivering patient care with confidence, backed by education, training, risk management resources, and support to anticipate patient needs and act on them.
