Job summary

AMN Healthcare seeks a Nocturnist Physician to provide locum tenens coverage in Shiprock, New Mexico. Schedule is 7 on, 7 off, 7:30pm to 7:30am, with census 12-15 per shift. Start ASAP with credentialing 45-60 days; RPMS EMR used.

Compensation is $184.30–$199.50 per hour, with malpractice insurance, travel and lodging support, and a hospital team of 75 physicians and 24 mid-level providers.

Qualifications

• Must hold BLS, ACLS and ATLS certifications.
• Experience with nocturnist/hospitalist roles preferred.
• Ability to work 7 on 7 off night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Cover nocturnist shifts 7:30pm–7:30am.
• Perform procedures: lumbar puncture, paracentesis, thoracentesis, joint aspirations, central line placements.
• Document in RPMS EMR and coordinate with hospital team.

This facility is seeking a Nocturnist Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details and requirements for this opportunity:

• Schedule: 7 on 7 off, Sunday through Saturday 7:30pm – 7:30am
• Total census per provider per shift: 12-15
• Procedures required:Lumbar punctures, paracentesis, thoracentesis, joint aspirations, and central line placements
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Resource and Patient Management System (RPMS)
• Support: The hospital consists of 75 physicians and 24 mid-level providers.
• Certifications and license required: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS)
• Credentialing timeframe: 45-60 days
