Job summary

AMN Healthcare invites qualified Hospitalist Physicians to cover locum tenens shifts in Crown Point, NM. Schedule includes Saturday and Sunday 7:30a–8:00p with half lunch, serving an average census of 3–4 per provider per shift. Must hold board certification in Family or Internal Medicine and be licensed without restrictions; BLS is required.

EMR is RPMS with support from RNs, MAs and mid-level staff. Credentialing typically completes within 45–60 days; malpractice insurance is usually arranged,

Qualifications

• Board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine is required.
• BLS certification may be expected.
• Unrestricted state license to practice medicine.

Responsibilities

• Provide hospitalist services for locum tenens assignments.
• Work with RN, MA and mid-level support.
• Follow hospital policies and participate in patient care coordination.

This facility is seeking a Hospitalist Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details and requirements for this opportunity:

• Schedule: Saturday - Sunday 7:30a-8:00p (1/2 lunch)
• Total census per provider per shift:3 - 4
• Procedures required:General hospitalist procedures
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR):RPMS
• Support: Registered nurses, medical assistants and mid-level support
• Certifications and license required: Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine, Basic life support (BLS), any unrestricted state license
• Credentialing timeframe: 45-60 days

Facility Location

Crown Point is situated in Northwest New Mexico; right on the Eastern edge of the Navajo Reservation, and only a few hours’ drive north to the Southern Rockies, and driving east will lead to Albuquerque and Santa Fe. World Class skiing is real close and the region has superb hiking and fishing opportunities. Many locations within Crown Point are suitable for jogging and bicycling
