Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking a Nocturnist physician for locum tenens coverage in California. The schedule runs 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.

with a typical census of 22 per provider, and includes support from an Advanced Practice Provider 8 a.m.–6 p.m., with ER physician backup. Candidates must have ACLS, BLS, DEA, an active California license, and be Board Certified or Board Eligible. Credentialing is expected within 90 days; Cerner is the EMR.

Responsibilities

• Provide nocturnist coverage 7:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m. for hospital patients.

• Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Cerner
• Support: Advanced Practice Provider 8a-6p. Emergency Room Physician as Backup.
• Certifications and License Required: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Active California State License, Board Certified or Board Eligible
• Credentialing Timeframe: 90 Days
