Job summary

Jefferson Health in New Jersey is seeking a nocturnist to join the overnight inpatient team at South Jersey acute care hospitals. The role features twelve-hour shifts from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. and a sustainable work schedule.

Responsibilities include admitting patients from the ED, providing night coverage, supervising residents (academic track option), and ensuring smooth transitions with nursing and other teams. Thorough charting and compliant documentation are required.

• Documentation & Compliance: Maintain thorough charting of histories, physicals, daily notes, and plans of care, ensuring compliance and accurate comorbidity coding.
