The nocturnist physician position involves working at a Level II Trauma Center hospital with a team of 30 physicians and 12 mid-level providers. This role features 10-hour shifts, 7 days on, 7 days off, aimed at enhancing patient care through continuity. Hospital Details:

The hospital's hospitalist group, the region's only Level II Trauma Center, consists of 30 physicians and 12 mid-level providers. No ICU procedures are required as there is 24/7 ICU coverage. The group emphasizes a physician-driven schedule to improve patient care by reducing turnover and increasing continuity. It comprises both Family and Internal Medicine trained physicians.

Schedule and Compensation:

The nocturnist schedule includes 10-hour shifts, either 7 am - 5 pm or 9 am - 7 pm, on a 7 days on, 7 days off basis. The compensation plan is RVU-based with no cap, offering flexibility for work-life balance. Benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance, short-term and long-term disability, CME, licensing, and certification costs coverage, along with academic and teaching opportunities.
