Position Description

Pennsylvania Hospital, a 515‑bed acute care and teaching hospital in Philadelphia, is seeking a full‑time Nocturnist to join their team. The Hospitalist group values high quality patient care, expert education, and mentorship.

Primary Responsibilities

• Direct patient care on the teaching services, non‑teaching service, Observation Medicine service, and the consult/co‑management service.
• Provide care in a closed ICU and open Intermediate Critical Care Unit.
• Perform occasional procedures.

Position Requirements

• Medical degree or foreign equivalent.
• Board certified or eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
• Board certification required for applicants whose residency was completed three or more years prior to application.
• Eligible for PA medical license.
• Passage of USMLE Step 1, 2, and 3.
• DEA license/registration.
