Job summary

San Joaquin General Hospital in California seeks a Board Certified Nocturnist to join our Internal Medicine team. This academic hospitalist role includes night coverage (7P–7A), cross-coverage, and opportunities to mentor residents in a collaborative environment.

The package features a strong base salary of $240,321 with a $35,000 stipend, plus incentives, CME, pension, generous annual leave, and loan forgiveness options. Visa sponsorship is available for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• BC/BE IM required.
• California state license is a definite plus, visa candidates welcome.
• New Graduates welcome to apply.
• Basic ICU and procedural skills required.
• Cross-coverage, admissions, and medicine Consults to specialties.

Responsibilities

• Broad scope FM faculty providing adult inpatient and clinic care.
• Residency in a suburban underserved area of Northern California.
• 8-8-8 residency with community-oriented curriculum including obstetrics, transgender care, opioid addiction clinic, and a public health clinic.
