The University of Illinois Chicago Department of Medicine seeks a nocturnist (open rank, non-tenure) to provide clinical care and teaching within the Division of Academic Internal Medicine and Geriatrics in Chicago, IL.

The successful candidate will hold an MD or DO, complete an Internal Medicine residency, be eligible for Illinois license and UI Health privileges, and will join a department with strong research and educational missions.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree and eligibility for Illinois medical license.
• Completion of an Internal Medicine Residency Program.
• Eligible for medical staff privileges at UI Health.

Responsibilities

• Clinical service in the clinical setting.
• Teach medical students and Internal Medicine residents.
• Participate in the scholarly and service missions of the department.
• Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned.
