Job summary

Northwestern Medicine is seeking a compassionate Nocturnist Emergency Medicine physician to join our team across McHenry, Woodstock, and Huntley, IL. The role includes clinical emergency medicine practice in a community hospital setting with access to advanced resources within Northwestern Medicine's integrated health system.

The physician will supervise and instruct advanced practice providers, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and maintain hospital privileges at the listed facilities.

Qualifications

• Active Illinois Medical Licensure and DEA.
• Board certification or eligibility in Emergency Medicine.
• Graduate of an accredited medical school with residency in Emergency Medicine.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and other healthcare professionals.
• Hospital privileges at McHenry, Woodstock, and Huntley Hospitals.
• Nurse and certified medical assistant support.
• Supervision and instruction of advanced practice providers.
• Experience with EPIC electronic health record.

Education

Illinois Medical Licensure

DEA license

Board certified/eligible in Emergency Medicine

Graduated from an accredited medical school with residency in Emergency Medicine
