Job summary

TeamHealth is seeking a nocturnist EM physician to join the emergency department team at San Ramon Regional Medical Center, a Level II Trauma Center in the East Bay. This overnight position offers a predictable schedule and competitive compensation in a 16-bed ED serving ~22,000 annual visits.

The role requires board certification or eligibility in emergency medicine, an active CA license or eligibility, and current ACLS/PALS/ATLS.

Qualifications

• Board certified or board eligible in emergency medicine (ABEM/AOBEM) preferred.
• Active California medical license, or ability to obtain prior to start.
• Current ACLS, PALS, and ATLS certifications.
• Demonstrated recent EM practice meeting hospital privileging requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide overnight emergency medicine coverage at San Ramon Regional Medical Center.
• Deliver high-quality patient care in a high-acuity ED with a collaborative team.
• Adhere to credentialing timelines and institutional policies.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement and CME activities.
