Job summary

Sound Physicians is hiring for Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioners in Washington, DC, to lead patient care in a physician-founded, clinician-centered group. Teams collaborate across Emergency Medicine, Hospital Medicine and Critical Care within Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center.

The role offers full-time, part-time, and PRN MD/DO and APP positions with on-site work in the DC metro area, strong leadership, and a patient-first culture focused on outcomes.

Qualifications

• Family nurse practitioner or emergency nurse practitioner, with a minimum of one (1) year of emergency medicine experience.
• Certifications Required: ATLS, ACLS, and PALS.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• This is not a new-grad opportunity.

Responsibilities

• The EM team responds to floor codes.
• The Hospitalist team is part of the Rapid Response and Code team.
• Cerner is our EMR.
