Responsibilities

• Evaluate and identify problems in patients.
• Take patient history and perform physical exams.
• Write prescriptions and orders; interpret labs and imaging.
• Monitor patient status and response to treatment.
• Document findings in the medical record.
• Recommend appropriate therapeutic interventions.
• Interact with consultants as appropriate.
• Provide patient education and counseling; direct to appropriate agencies.
• Supervise NP, PA, health science and medical students as appropriate.
