Columbia Healthcare in Dothan, Alabama is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the Emergency Department as a Nocturnist. You will provide emergency care to patients of all ages in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

The position offers a full-time schedule from 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM, with autonomy within established protocols and strong physician support. A competitive compensation package is provided with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing as a CRNP or Master's from an accredited PA program.
• Current NCCPA certification (PA) or NP certification.
• Active Alabama license and DEA (or ability to obtain).
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency care to patients of all ages in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
• Perform advanced clinical assessments, diagnose and treat acute illnesses and injuries, order and interpret diagnostic testing, perform procedures within scope of practice.
• Collaborate closely with emergency physicians and multidisciplinary staff.
• Work within established clinical protocols while exercising a high degree of autonomy.
