Job summary

NYU Langone Health seeks a highly motivated Critical Care Nocturnal Intensivist to join the MICU at our Manhattan campus. This role offers dedicated night coverage with opportunities to teach, participate in quality initiatives, and collaborate with a renowned academic medical center.

Ideal candidates will be board-certified in Critical Care Medicine, eligible for NY licensure, and possess strong communication and teamwork skills for a multidisciplinary nocturnal team.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Board certified in Critical Care Medicine or equivalent pathway.
• Eligibility for New York State medical licensure.
• Demonstrated excellence in clinical care, teamwork, and education.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-house overnight attending coverage for the MICU and rapid response team.
• Lead and mentor overnight multidisciplinary teams including residents and nurses.
• Perform and supervise advanced ICU procedures with ultrasound guidance.
• Ensure continuity of care and effective handoffs with daytime intensivists.
