Job summary

We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our nocturnist team in Dothan, Alabama. The selected candidate will provide overnight care to hospitalized adults, collaborating closely with physicians to ensure exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities include 12-hour night shifts, conducting rounds, and developing treatment plans while ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests. Board-certified applicants with inpatient experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires valid Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license and board certification.
• Inpatient, hospitalist, critical care, emergency, or acute care experience preferred.
• Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills; able to work autonomously within a physician-led team.
