Job summary

Healthcare United seeks a BE/BC Nocturnist for a full-time role in the Litchfield Area, Connecticut. Practice overnight Internal Medicine in a community hospital with a closed ICU and access to specialists.

Work schedule: Seven nights on followed by seven nights off. Epic is the EMR; you will teach medical students and residents. New grads welcomed to apply and compensation is competitive.

Qualifications

• MD or DO; Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
• Unrestricted Connecticut medical license eligibility.
• Eligibility for unrestricted DEA and Connecticut controlled-substance registration.
• Current CV required.

Responsibilities

• Provide overnight inpatient care with Intensivist support for a closed ICU.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary Hospital Medicine service and consulting physicians.
• Medical student and resident teaching or mentorship opportunities are available.
