Job summary

Witham Health Services seeks a Board Certified/Eligible OB/GYN to join as an OB Laborist for nocturnal inpatient coverage in Lebanon, IN. The role features a flexible schedule with 12- and 24-hour shifts and one weekend per month, focusing on labor/delivery care in a dedicated unit.

The candidate will provide inpatient obstetric coverage, collaborate with a full OB/GYN team, and participate in a community hospital setting with strong nursing support and a mix of ambulatory and inpatient

Qualifications

• MD or DO required
• Board Certified/Eligible in OB/GYN
• Eligible for Indiana medical license
• Current DEA registration
• Experience with labor and delivery
• Able to provide independent inpatient obstetric care
• Malpractice coverage with tail coverage

Responsibilities

• Provide nocturnal inpatient obstetric coverage.
• Manage labor and delivery patients throughout the shift.
• Perform deliveries and respond to urgent obstetric needs.
• Collaborate with nursing, anesthesia, and the broader medical staff.
• Support a laborist with ambulatory and inpatient responsibilities.
