Job summary

Vectrus, Inc. seeks a Systems Engineer 3 (NOC) to support a Norfolk, VA government customer. On-site role requiring active Secret/TS/TS-SCI clearance as needed, with responsibilities spanning troubleshooting, training, and network engineering across Navy and shore facilities.

The candidate will work to ensure continuity of operations, perform configuration management, and collaborate with diverse stakeholders. Travel is minimal.

Qualifications

• BS in Information Technology or 8+ years of related technical experience.

Responsibilities

• Support Navy NOCs; on-site troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Provide training to Fleet NOC personnel.
• Coordinate repair of installed C4I systems (servers, routers, switches, firewalls).
• Ensure shore-based facilities are operational to meet fleet needs.
• Support NOC restoral during outages and rapid responses.
• Provide on-site engineering support for IT hardware/software upgrades.
• Maintain system configuration management and BOM/SOVT inputs.
• Offer recommendations for upgrades and networking strategies.
• Assist in preliminary network testing after site upgrades.
• Support IA policies and IA-related systems (HBSS, ACAS, IDS, antivirus, firewalls).
• Interact with multiple customer organizations.
• May require travel (<5%).
