Compass Senior Living is seeking a Care Partner to support residents with daily living activities, health monitoring, and companionship in a warm, team-focused environment.

You will assist with personal care, meals, and light housekeeping while engaging residents in social and enrichment activities and communicating with families and staff to ensure well-being.

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn and work within a team environment.
• Good verbal communication and English reading/writing with residents and coworkers.
• Licensing documentation (if required by state) and ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Ability to perform job responsibilities with or without accommodation.

Responsabilités

• Provide personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility assistance.
• Monitor health and document changes; report to Wellness Team.
• Offer emotional support and companionship to residents.
• Assist with meals and possibly feed residents needing support.
• Engage residents in life-enrichment activities and social events.
• Communicate with residents, families, team members, and guests.
• Maintain cleanliness and light housekeeping.

What You’ll Do

As a Care Partner, you can expect a range of responsibilities and tasks. Here are some general expectations:

• You will provide personal care: assist elders with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility, possibly with walkers and wheelchairs.
• You will provide health monitoring and documentation: observe, document, and report changes in the elder’s health or behavior to the Wellness Team.
• You will give emotional support: may support elders dealing with loneliness, anxiety, or other emotional challenges. Engaging in conversation, active listening, and offering companionship is part of your role.
• You will assist with Meals: help elders with meals and possibly feed elders who require additional support.
• You will engage in social and recreational activities: supporting elders in life-enriching activities for their well-being.
• You will connect: Communicate with elders, their families, other team members, and guests.
• You will keep things clean: may involve light housekeeping, such as tidying up and ensuring general cleanliness.
