Job summary

ThedaCare in Appleton, Wisconsin is seeking a part-time RN for noc shifts (5:30pm-6:00am) with an 18-hour workweek and every 3rd weekend rotation. The role focuses on delivering patient-centered, evidence-based nursing care within a collaborative interprofessional team.

Qualified candidates hold current Wisconsin RN licensure and BLS certification. BSN must be completed within five years of hire if not yet achieved.

Qualifications

• Current Wisconsin RN licensure and BLS certification are required.
• Non-BSN nurses must obtain BSN within five years of hire.
• Flexibility for 18 hrs/week noc shift and every 3rd weekend is required.

Responsibilities

• Apply nursing process and evidence-based practice to assess patient needs and plan care with the interprofessional team.
• Develop and implement care plans to achieve high-quality outcomes.
• Provide comprehensive RN care with age-appropriate and culturally sensitive practice.
• Identify ways to improve patient experience and reduce costs while maintaining quality.
• Mentor and engage with colleagues to support professional development.
• Collaborate with physicians and team members to solve problems and improve care.
• Anticipate and manage risk, and respond to life-threatening emergencies effectively.
