Job summary

MBK Senior Living is seeking a part-time Caregiver in Orange, CA to support residents with daily living activities, meals, and mobility. You will follow care plans, promote dignity, and assist with oxygen management as needed.

The role emphasizes compassion, teamwork, and adherence to safety procedures, with opportunities for growth through MBK’s mentoring and training programs. Evening/night shifts (NOC) require flexibility.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and speak English.
• Nurses Aide certification preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident needs promptly and kindly while maintaining each resident’s self-respect, personal dignity, personal safety and confidentiality.
• Read and follow care plans to ensure proper care is being given to residents.
• Assist residents in daily living activities including bathing, dressing, hygiene, meals, activities, and mobility.
• Provide assistance at mealtime with selecting meals, serving, and clearing trays.
• Transport residents as necessary following safety techniques and assist with transfers.
• Perform regular safety checks on residents and encourage participation in daily activities.
• Lead residents in meaningful and life-enriching activities and assist with community tasks.
• Manage oxygen tanks and concentrators per MD orders and document observations.
