Belmont Village Senior Living in San Diego, CA seeks a Charge Nurse for a full-time night shift (Tuesday-Saturday, 10:30pm–7:00am). You will administer medications, support wellness initiatives, help ensure regulatory compliance, and assist with quality monitoring while leading Caregivers and Medication Technicians.

Qualifications

• Active LVN or LPN license in the State.
• CPR certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum one year of medication administration experience.
• Prior supervisory experience preferred.
• Must be able to communicate clearly in verbal and written English.
• Intermediate computer and mobile device skills.
• Consistent and reliable attendance is essential.
• Professional, pleasant and team oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Follow up on physicians orders, coordinate services with ancillary providers and report to physicians and families changes in condition.
• Provide medication administration to an assigned group of residents according to physicians orders.
• Oversee tasks of Medication Technicians and care providers to ensure care plans are followed.
• Make appropriate situational decisions and manage conflict positively.
• Update and review resident medical records, clinical documentation, and incident reports.
