Belmont Village Senior Living is seeking a Part-Time Charge Nurse in Encinitas, CA. The role involves administering medications, supporting wellness initiatives, and ensuring regulatory compliance while guiding Caregivers and Medication Technicians.

You will collaborate with healthcare practitioners, families, and the care team to ensure timely clinical interventions, maintain accurate records, and foster a compassionate, hospitality-driven environment where residents thrive.

Qualifications

• Licensed LVN or LPN in the state of assignment.
• CPR certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum one year of medication administration experience preferred.
• Prior supervisory experience preferred.
• Must communicate clearly in English.
• Intermediate computer and mobile device skills.
• Professional, pleasant and team oriented attitude.
• Consistent and reliable attendance essential for Belmont Village employees.

Responsibilities

• Follow up on physicians orders, coordinate services with ancillary providers and report to physicians and families any changes of condition or other pertinent clinical care information.
• Provide medication administration to an assigned group of residents according to physicians orders and report any adverse reactions or clinical observations documenting as necessary.
• Ensure resident care and service plans are followed by overseeing tasks of Medication Technicians and care providers.
• Make appropriate situational decisions and manage conflict in a positive and constructive manner.
• Update and review resident medical records, clinical documentation, and incident reports.
