Responsibilities

• Monitor, manage, and troubleshoot network infrastructure across multiple client environments
• Provide Tier 2 NOC support for incidents related to routing, switching, firewalls, and connectivity
• Support and maintain Fortinet and Cisco network and security platforms
• Work within OT and Oil & Gas environments, ensuring network stability, uptime, and security
• Respond to alerts, incidents, and service requests while meeting SLA requirements
• Perform root cause analysis and assist with long‑term remediation efforts
• Collaborate with senior engineers on escalated issues and network improvement projects
• Document network configurations, changes, and troubleshooting procedures
• Participate in on‑call rotation as required

Required Experience & Skills

• 2+ years of experience in a NOC or network support role within an MSP or enterprise environment
• Hands‑on experience with Cisco (routing & switching) and Fortinet (FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer)
• Exposure to or experience supporting OT / Industrial / Oil & Gas networks
• Strong troubleshooting skills across LAN, WAN, VPN, and firewall technologies
• Understanding of network monitoring tools and ticketing systems
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with distributed teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Cisco or Fortinet certifications (CCNA, NSE 4/5, or similar)
• Experience supporting remote or rugged environments common to Alaska operations
• Familiarity with network security best practices in industrial environments
