Job summary

Qualifications

• CA RN license and AHA BLS for healthcare provider upon hire.
• Knowledge of growth and development over the life span and ability to assess and interpret data to meet age-specific needs.
• Minimum 1 year experience in acute psychiatric inpatient setting.

Responsibilities

• Admit and discharge patients and assign nurses to patients.
• Provide safe and therapeutic management of patient care for adult and elderly psychiatric patients.
• Communicate the written plan of care and changes to the plan to the patient, family, and health care team.
• Maintain accurate documentation according to standards and policies.
• Monitor inventory and order medical supplies as needed.
