Job summary

AlignMed Partners seeks a Fee-For-Service Attending Physician for the Oak Grove Center in Waterville, ME. Flexible hours and days, with a 1099/fee-for-service arrangement and responsibilities across centers to implement clinical programs and standards of care.

The role reports to the Regional Medical Director and Center Medical Director, ensuring compliance, documentation, and high-quality patient care within post-acute and long-term care settings.

Qualifications

• MD or DO required.
• Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine preferred, with maintenance of certification.
• Geriatrics specialization is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Take complete responsibility for patients admitted to their service.
• Visit assigned patients in a timely fashion according to policy.
• Deliver high quality care and work with the Center Medical Director to improve care in the facility.
• Coordinate transfer and care arrangements with area hospitals and pertinent institutions.
