Job summary

Moss Solar is seeking a Solar Hourly Laborer-Operator to support field installations and general labor on solar projects. The role involves helping with panel installation, site prep, and equipment handling in a fast-paced outdoor environment.

No prior experience is required; however, candidates should be able to operate basic hand and power tools, learn safety procedures, and be willing to work long hours, overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; some high school education or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools and basic wiring is beneficial.
• Willingness to work extended hours, overtime, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Learn and follow safety procedures to maintain a safe site.
• Clear debris, prepare installation area, and lay out equipment.
• Keep the work site clean and organized.
• Familiarity with hand and power tools; basic wiring experience helpful.
• Operate hand tools such as tape measures, wrenches, hammers, drills, grinders.
• Assist with assembly and installation of solar panels, racking systems, and components.
• May perform as Millwright, Solar PV Installer or Quality Control Helper.
• May operate PD10, Skid Steer and/or Excavator.
• Communicate effectively and portray a positive professional image.
