ParkWest's AI practice ships custom assistants, internal tools, and automated workflows for operators who need results in weeks, not quarters. We’re hiring a No‑Code AI Applications Engineer to compose those systems on platforms like n8n, Make, Zapier, Lovable, Bubble, Retool, Airtable, and Supabase – wired to LLMs, vector stores, and client systems of record. You’ll partner with strategists and prompt engineers to turn discovery docs into shipped applications clients log into on Monday morning.
A day in the life
Monday you scope a client intake assistant – mapping triggers, data sources, and the human handoff. Tuesday you wire it up in n8n and Lovable, with a Supabase backend and an OpenAI‑powered classifier. Wednesday you pair with the prompt engineer on evals and add retries, logging, and a Slack escalation path. Thursday is a client walkthrough and two rounds of feedback. Friday you ship, monitor the first 50 runs, and write the runbook.
The work itself
- Design and build AI‑powered apps, dashboards, and internal tools on no‑code and low‑code platforms.
- Compose automation workflows across n8n, Make, Zapier, and native APIs – with proper error handling and observability.
- Integrate LLMs, vector databases, CRMs, and client systems of record into reliable end‑to‑end pipelines.
- Model data in Airtable, Supabase, or similar – schemas, relations, permissions, migrations.
- Partner with prompt engineers and strategists to translate workflow maps into shipped applications.
- Document builds with diagrams, runbooks, and handoff notes that clients and our delivery team can maintain.
How we’ll measure it
- Applications you ship run reliably in production with monitored error rates and clear ownership.
- Clients can operate and extend the systems you build without us as a permanent dependency.
- Build cycles get shorter quarter over quarter as you compound a library of patterns and templates.
The fit
Must‑haves
- 3+ years building on no‑code/low‑code platforms (Bubble, Retool, Lovable, Softr, Glide, or similar) in production.
- Deep fluency with automation platforms – n8n, Make, or Zapier – including webhooks, queues, and conditional logic.
- Hands‑on experience integrating LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google) into real applications.
- Working knowledge of relational data modeling, REST/GraphQL APIs, and webhook security.
- Experience with vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, pgvector) and retrieval pipelines.
- Background in solutions engineering, sales engineering, or agency delivery.
- Familiarity with Supabase, Postgres RLS, or edge functions for production‑grade backends.
