Job summary

Mr. Greens Produce is seeking a Driver to operate a 16 or 24-foot box truck on established routes to deliver fresh produce to customer locations. You will provide friendly service, verify deliveries meet client needs, and handle daily truck inspection and maintenance.

Responsibilities include unloading with a pallet jack, communicating with dispatch, and resolving issues to ensure customer satisfaction. Candidates must be 21+, with a valid license and clean record.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of truck/box truck driving experience.
• Valid driver license and clean driving record.
• Able to work weekdays and weekends.
• Able to perform 2nd routes and overtime.
• Able to read street signs in the operating state.
• 21 years of age or older.
• Experience in route delivery logistics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate 16- or 24-foot box delivery truck.
• Conduct vehicle inspections before departing to deliver goods.
• Ensure on-time deliveries to client locations as scheduled.
• Unload products using a pallet jack.
• Provide onsite customer service and confirm deliveries meet needs.
• Communicate delays, unsafe routes, accidents, or equipment issues to dispatch.
• Maintain ongoing communication with the route dispatcher.
• Promptly report defective equipment.

Overview

Mr. Greens has proudly grown into one of the largest privately-owned producers in Florida. With deliveries 365 days a year, 7 days a week and multiple runs per day, Mr. Greens has set the gold standard for service. Mr. Greens serves a large variety of clients, including restaurants, hotels, country clubs, caterers, grocery stores and retail outlets.

Summary

Mr. Greens is looking for highly motivated and dedicated candidates who will Drive refrigerated trucks on established route to deliver fresh produce into customer locations. Expected to provide friendly service in making accurate and timely deliveries. Handle and resolve customer complaints and daily truck inspection and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Operate Mr. Greens Delivery vehicle 16 or 24-foot Box Truck.
• Conduct inspections of vehicle before departing to deliver goods.
• Help us ensure that our clients receive their delivery as promised.
• Unload products utilizing a pallet jack.
• Provide onsite customer service - review deliveries with customers to ensure products meet their needs and that they are satisfied with our products and service.
• Effectively communicate with dispatchers, customer service and leadership team. concerning delays, unsafe routes, accidents, and equipment breakdowns.
• Maintain ongoing communication with route dispatcher.
• Properly and promptly report defective equipment.

Qualifications

• Availability requirements – weekdays and weekends.
• Work independently, using our Mr. Greens Delivery Truck 16 or 24-foot Truck.
• Must have at least 1 year of Truck/Box Truck driving experience.
• Experience in route delivery logistics, produce delivery experience preferred.
• Available to do 2nd runs (second route in the same day) and overtime.
• Valid Driver License and clean driving record.
• Able to understand and read street signs in state in which Mr. Greens operates.
• 21+ years old.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent moving of product up to 50 pounds during the shift.
• Must be able to climb on and off the box of the truck.
• Frequent bending, squatting, pushing, and pulling.
• Must be able to work in cold storage environment
• Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions (hot weather, rain, and extreme cold temperatures)
