Job summary

Skilled Wound Care in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Plastic Surgeon to lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities. No-call, Monday–Friday schedule with options for full-time or part-time, and compensation of $250,000–$500,000 per year for full-time independent contractor style pay.

You will evaluate and treat chronic wounds, perform debridement, apply advanced dressings, and work collaboratively with facility staff to improve patient outcomes in the post-acute setting.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Unrestricted medical license in the practicing state.
• DEA license or eligibility.
• Open to Plastic/Recon. Surgeons and other specialties; wound care training provided.

Responsibilities

• Surgical and sharp debridement and bedside procedures.
• Evaluation and treatment of chronic, non-healing and complex wounds.
• Advanced dressings and specialized wound protocols.
• Collaborative care in skilled nursing facilities and post-acute settings.
