Job summary

Skilled Wound Care is seeking a Plastic Surgeon in Albuquerque, NM to lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities. This no-call role offers per-patient/per-procedure pay with bonuses and flexible full-time or part-time options, with comprehensive training provided.

Requirements include an MD or DO, an unrestricted state license (or eligibility), and a DEA license (or eligibility). Open to diverse surgical backgrounds and committed to high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Unrestricted medical license in the state of practice (or eligible).
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Open background welcomed; comprehensive wound care training provided.
• No prior wound care experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform surgical debridement and bedside procedures as part of wound care.
• Evaluate and treat chronic, non-healing, complex wounds in facilities.
• Collaborate with care teams in skilled nursing facilities and post-acute settings.
