Job summary

Skilled Wound Care in Columbus, OH is seeking Plastic Surgeons to lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities. The role offers a no-call lifestyle with Monday–Friday hours, and pays per-patient and per-procedure with potential bonuses; you can work full-time or part-time and avoid overhead of running a practice.

You will perform surgical debridement and bedside procedures, treat chronic wounds, and collaborate with facilities to achieve healing outcomes.

Qualifications

• MD/DO with unrestricted medical license in the state of practice.
• No prior wound care experience required; comprehensive training provided.
• Open to Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons and surgeons of all backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Surgical and sharp debridement and other bedside procedures.
• Evaluation and treatment of chronic, non-healing and complex wounds, including pressure injuries.
• Advanced dressings and specialized wound protocols.
• Collaborative care in skilled nursing facilities and post-acute settings, following patients through healing.
