Qualifications

• Medical Degree: MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Medical License: Unrestricted/clear medical license in the state of practice (or eligibility to obtain one).
• DEA License: DEA license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Open Background: We welcome Internal Medicine physicians and hospitalists, as well as Family Medicine physicians and surgeons of all backgrounds. No previous wound care or procedural experience is required; we provide comprehensive wound care training.

Responsibilities

• Lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities across the area.
• Perform surgical debridement and other bedside procedures with training provided.
• Manage chronic wounds and underlying conditions related to wound healing.
• Collaborate with care teams to optimize patient outcomes in a wound care setting.
