Job summary

Skilled Wound Care is seeking a General Surgeon in Cleveland, OH to join our wound care team. This role offers full-time or part-time options with a no‑call lifestyle and the opportunity to lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities across the area.

Ideal candidates are MDs or DOs with an unrestricted license and DEA eligibility. You’ll perform bedside debridement, manage wound protocols, and collaborate with post‑acute partners to improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Unrestricted medical license in state of practice (or eligibility).
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Open background welcomed; no prior wound care experience required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Surgical and bedside debridement and other bedside procedures
• Evaluation and treatment of chronic, non-healing and complex wounds
• Advanced dressings and specialized wound protocols
• Collaborative care in skilled nursing facilities and the post-acute setting, where you follow patients through healing
