Job summary

Skilled Wound Care in Orlando, FL is hiring Family Medicine Physicians to work as wound care physicians and lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities across the area.

This no-call, high-autonomy role offers the ability to perform bedside procedures, manage chronic wounds, and utilize advanced dressings with comprehensive training provided. Part-time or full-time options are available in a Monday–Friday outpatient setting.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Unrestricted medical license in the state of practice.
• DEA license (or eligibility) to obtain one.
• Wound care training provided.

Responsibilities

• Perform surgical debridement and other bedside procedures.
• Evaluate and treat chronic, non-healing and complex wounds.
• Use advanced dressings and wound protocols in patient care.
• Collaborate with care teams in skilled nursing facilities and post-acute settings.
