Skilled Wound Care is seeking a Family Medicine Physician in Alexandria, LA to provide comprehensive primary care with a focus on wound care in skilled nursing facilities. This role offers no-call weekdays with both full-time and part-time options, and opportunities to perform bedside procedures with full training provided.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Unrestricted/clear medical license in the state of practice (or eligibility to obtain one).
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Perform surgical debridement and bedside procedures with training provided.
• Evaluate and treat chronic, non-healing, and complex wounds.
• Collaborate with skilled nursing facilities and post-acute teams to follow patients through healing.
• Provide high-quality primary care with wound care focus, ensuring continuity of care.
