Job summary

Skilled Wound Care in Cincinnati, OH is seeking an Acute Care Surgeon to lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities. This role offers a no-call, Monday-Friday schedule and the chance to practice clinically without the trauma hospital environment.

You will perform bedside procedures, debridement, and manage complex wounds while enjoying autonomy and a supportive software system designed to reduce admin time.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited school and board eligibility in acute care surgery.
• Unrestricted medical license in the practicing state (or eligibility).
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one.
• No prior wound care experience required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Surgical debridement and bedside procedures.
• Evaluation and treatment of chronic, non-healing and complex wounds.
• Advanced dressings and specialized wound protocols.
• Collaborative care in skilled nursing facilities and post-acute settings.
