Skilled Wound Care, a premier national physician group, is hiring Acute Care Surgeons in El Paso, TX to work as wound care physicians and lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities across the area. This no-call position offers a high-impact surgical career without the trauma shifts, corporate bureaucracy, or relentless productivity targets, with clinical autonomy and reduced on-call hours.

Full-time or part-time schedules are available, with pay per patient and per procedure plus

Qualifications

• Medical Degree: MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Unrestricted medical license in the state of practice (or eligibility to obtain one).
• DEA license: or eligibility to obtain one.
• Open background: we welcome surgeons of all backgrounds; wound care training provided.

Responsabilités

• Surgical debridement and bedside procedures as part of wound care.
• Evaluation and treatment of chronic, non-healing and complex wounds.
• Advanced dressings and specialized wound protocols.
• Collaborative care in skilled nursing facilities and post-acute settings.
