Skilled Wound Care in El Paso, TX is hiring General Surgeons to lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities. This no-call, Monday–Friday role lets you keep surgical skills while enjoying clinical autonomy outside traditional hospital settings.

The position offers full- or part-time options with strong earnings potential, a per-patient and per-procedure pay model, and quarterly bonuses. Training and supportive admin systems help you practice with less administrative burden.

Qualifications

• Medical Degree: MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Medical License: Unrestricted/clear medical license in the state of practice (or eligibility to obtain one).
• DEA License: Or eligibility to obtain one.
• Open Background: We welcome General Surgeons and surgeons of all backgrounds and provide comprehensive wound care training.

Responsibilities

• Surgical debridement and bedside procedures.
• Evaluation and treatment of chronic, non-healing and complex wounds.
• Advanced dressings and specialized wound protocols.
• Collaborative care in skilled nursing facilities and post-acute settings, following patients through healing.
