Job summary

Intel in Albuquerque, NM is seeking an experienced Module Engineer to support high-volume semiconductor manufacturing. You will test, measure, and maintain equipment to meet safety, quality, and efficiency standards while driving process improvements.

You will collaborate with global teams, lead maintenance, and participate in technology transfers, ensuring on-time ramps and consistent processing across sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelors +4+ years in semiconductor manufacturing or
• Masters +3+ years in semiconductor manufacturing or related discipline
• 2+ years in SPC/DOE and process optimization
• 2+ years in high-volume semiconductor manufacturing equipment and processes

Responsibilities

• Conduct equipment tests and measurements to ensure control over critical dimensions, registration and defectivity.
• Recommend and implement modifications to improve production efficiency and output quality.
• Own and execute maintenance and repair activities to minimize downtime.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives for safety, quality, cost, productivity, defects, and yield metrics.
• Collaborate with equipment suppliers to enhance tools and processes.
• Develop systems to prevent excursions and detect discrepancies.
• Participate in technology transfers to global sites through training and audits.
• Oversee equipment installation, conversion, and qualification during ramps with safety and schedule alignment.

As a Module Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in enabling Intel's cutting-edge manufacturing processes by ensuring the seamless operation and optimization of critical high-volume equipment. Your day-to-day responsibilities will focus on conducting tests, measurements, and maintenance activities to ensure the equipment meets stringent safety, quality, and efficiency standards. By driving process improvements and collaborating with global teams, you will contribute to the successful production of advanced integrated circuits and help shape technological innovation in the semiconductor industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct equipment tests and measurements to ensure control over critical dimensions, registration and defectivity of the production line.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field with 4+ years of experience, or a Master's degree in Engineering or a related technical field with 3+ years of experience, in semiconductor manufacturing, equipment engineering, process engineering, or a related discipline.
• 2+ years of experience in statistical process control (SPC), design of experiments (DOE), and manufacturing process optimization.
• 2+ years of experience working with high-volume semiconductor manufacturing equipment and related technologies.
• 2+ years of experience in photolithography processes, defect detection, and process monitoring within a semiconductor manufacturing environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven ability to execute disciplined manufacturing processes and effectively troubleshoot equipment and process issues.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working across cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams.
• Experience leading or participating in structured problem-solving efforts and driving innovative solutions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated commitment to fostering a culture of safety, quality, and operational excellence.
• Passion for continuous learning and advancing leading-edge semiconductor manufacturing technologies.
