Job summary

Honeywell Federal Manufacturing & Technologies is seeking an NMO Technician at KCNSC in Albuquerque, NM. This role is designed as the next step in the NMO Technician progression, involving intermediate testing, troubleshooting, repairing, or refurbishing with foundational understanding of sub-systems for electronic, mechanical, or software products while complying with workmanship standards.

You will support engineering, prototypes, development, or production requirements for low-volume/high-mix

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of relevant work experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. DOE security clearance.
• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic technical work activities under supervision.
• Demonstrates electrical/mechanical skills.
• Reads, understands, and follows work procedures to accurately record results.
• Learns from project leads/subject matter experts while demonstrating technical aptitude.
• Uses equipment, techniques, and tools necessary to complete tasks.
• Participates in teamwork related activities without expectation to demonstrate any informal leadership skills.
• Understands basic documentation and drawings that define the work being performed.
• Performs work under close supervision/direction while learning self-direction.
• Engages in minimal interactions with Honeywell customers.
• Understands the basics of Honeywell Operating Systems (HOS) and Management Operating Systems (MOS).
