Job summary

Center for Civic Policy is seeking a State Director for New Mexico to lead electoral and advocacy campaigns with a coalition of partner organizations. The role emphasizes direct voter contact, strategy development, and collaboration with the COO and senior leadership.

The candidate should have deep experience in electoral field programs, equity-centered leadership, and the ability to coordinate diverse groups toward shared political outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or minimum 5 years of experience with issue and/or political campaigns.
• Expertise in electoral field program management with strong direct voter contact.
• Proven ability to manage a coalition in an inclusive, strategic manner.
• Experience with grant reporting and coalition administration is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the NMmas Table campaign strategy and coordinate statewide voter education plans.
• Recruitment goals and campaign workforce development across partner organizations.
• Develop and implement field and advocacy plans for campaigns.
• Supervise partner organizations and canvassers during Table-led campaigns.
• Monitor progress, report outcomes, and manage the coalition budget.
