Qualifications

• Must be NJROTC certified through the Naval Service Training Command (NSTC).

• Must be retired from the Navy, Marine Corps, or Coast Guard.
• Must have an excellent military record.
• Must be able to teach the NJROTC curriculum as prescribed by NSTC.

Responsibilities

• Conducts the NJROTC program in accordance with NSTC regulations.
• Prepares an annual operational plan and calendar for NJROTC activities.
• Teaches NJROTC subjects and achieves curricular requirements.
• Recruits cadets and maintains minimum enrollment goals.
• Plans and conducts extracurricular activities (e.g., color guard, drill teams).
• Coordinates summer camp attendance and supports community service activities.
