Job summary

Pennoni is seeking a field QA representative to perform construction materials testing and inspections at job sites. You will monitor compliance with drawings and specifications for concrete, masonry, structural steel, fireproofing, soils, and foundations, and conduct field tests on materials and welds.

You will read drawings, write reports, and coordinate with engineers, contractors, and clients. The role requires 1–3 years of related experience, a high school diploma, and willingness to work

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of related experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Willing to perform field work and physical tasks
• NJ approved certifications or ability to obtain NJDCA certifications as listed

Responsibilities

• Inspect construction work as a field QA representative and perform construction materials testing
• Monitor conformity to drawings and specs for concrete, masonry, structural steel, spray-applied fireproofing, soils and foundations
• Conduct field tests on plastics concrete, grout, mortar, block, fireproofing and perform nondestructive testing of welds
• Read drawings, write reports, and coordinate with engineers, contractors and clients
