Iowa Valley Community College District seeks a Head Football Coach in Iowa Falls, IA, to lead all aspects of the football program and ensure adherence to ICCAC and NJCAA rules. The role emphasizes student-athlete development, academics, and competitive success.

The successful candidate will recruit, coach, develop staff, manage logistics, and promote a culture of excellence both on the field and in the classroom.

Qualifications

• Five years of football coaching experience required.
• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing to a diverse population of students.
• Knowledge and ability to organize multiple priorities and job duties.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and retain a full competitive roster; hire, supervise, and evaluate assistant coaches; coordinate practice planning and coaching strategies.
• Coordinate staffing, medical support, and facility availability for practices and competitions; manage budgets and travel logistics.
• Supervise all participants of the football program; enforce rules of conduct and report matters to the Director of Athletics.
• Establish and promote program and department fundraising.
• Guide the professional development of assistant coaches and attend IVCCD/ICCAC meetings.
• Assist with setup, SID work, and some administrative duties.
