Job summary

CompHealth in New Jersey seeks an inpatient psychiatrist to care for older adults with dual diagnosis in a hospital setting.

The role offers a 40-hour week, Monday through Friday, with no call or weekend coverage. You will see about 16 patient encounters daily (2–3 new patients), plus a streamlined credentialing process; housing, travel, and comprehensive malpractice coverage are arranged, with a dedicated recruiter handling all details.

Qualifications

• Inpatient psychiatry experience required (hospital setting).
• Experience with older adult and dual diagnosis populations.
• Board certification in Adult or Geriatric Psychiatry required.
• Full-time position: 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient psychiatric care to older adults.
• Manage roughly 16 patient encounters per day, including 2–3 new patients.
• Assist with credentialing/privileging processes as part of the role.
