Handex Consulting & Remediation, LLC is seeking a motivated environmental compliance professional to ensure adherence to federal and New Jersey regulations. The role involves monitoring operations, preparing reports, conducting audits, and coordinating with agencies across New Jersey.

You will support development of policies, train staff, and travel to various job sites as needed; salary ranges from $70k to $95k with full benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and state regulatory familiarity.
• 4+ years of NJ environmental compliance experience and permits reporting.

Responsibilities

• Monitor compliance with discharge, air, stormwater permits and spill plans.
• Conduct site inspections and audits to identify risks or violations.
• Prepare and submit environmental permits and reports (e.g., SPCC, SWPPP, air emissions).
• Assist in developing and implementing environmental policies.
• Stay updated on environmental laws and communicate implications to stakeholders.
• Provide training to staff on compliance matters.
• Maintain records of monitoring and compliance activities.
• Liaise with regulatory agencies and respond to inspections or inquiries.
