Job summary

Distinctive Living is seeking a Medication Aide to support residents with ADL and medication administration in our community. The role reports to the Director, Health and Wellness and requires adherence to regulatory standards as well as compassionate, professional care.

Ideal candidates hold a High School Diploma or GED, CMA/HHA or CNA certification, and have at least one year of caregiving experience. Strong documentation and communication with medical professionals are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have CMA, HHA certification or CNA license.
• One year of caregiving experience or similar role.
• Ability to read physician orders and match to records.
• Understand medical terminology adequate to pass medications.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications per physician orders and MAR.
• Document daily tasks and changes in condition.
• Communicate resident needs with team and families.
• Assist with meals and supervise during shifts as needed.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA and safety guidelines.
